Walk and Bike Lansing! is a campaign to engage and mobilize Lansing residents,
businesses, and others to make Lansing a walk and bike friendly city.

The effort is led by the
Lansing Walking & Bicycling Task Force, which includes
residents and organizations focused on economic development, businesses,
neighborhoods, environment, health, transportation, children’s safety, senior citizens,
bicycling, walking, and land use.

Overall goals focus on:
  • Increasing percentages of trips by foot and bike in Lansing and
  • Decreasing the number of pedestrian and bicyclist accidents and fatalities
